Due to silk’s unique characteristics, silk products do not require frequent washing unless they are visibly soiled.

Dry cleaning is generally a better option than hand washing to keep silk products fresh. Silk’s sheen may gradually fade if washed by hand, although washing it in this way will help it to develop a unique texture.
